Since first seeing Spike Finch's beautiful work, I have been inspired by what is possible by segmenting various colored stone. It is a challenge to be creative in the way the segments are assembled and arranged.

    I have designed another segmented stone project (Piece # 006) and have a couple of alabaster blanks ready to go. One blank is the light colored very translucent alabaster used in some previous pieces.

                   

    The other blank is smaller, and is a pinkish color that isn't as translucent. So keep an eye on this web page because as I progress and when it is completed, you will see it here . . .
